Background 

Dr Adanna Onyejiaka is a Senior Clinical Psychologist in the National Adult Autism and ADHD Psychology Service and the Transforming Care in Autism project aimed at supporting autistic adults who are admitted to inpatient services or are at risk of admission.

She has experience in assessment, formulation and using evidence-based psychological interventions working individually with adults, as well as with their families, organisations and systems. She is experienced in using CBT and systemic-informed family therapy.

She has an interest in practice-based evidence and is jointly conducting a service evaluation project investigating access and experience of service provisions with a focus on race and ethnicity.
